Canyons - Rock Formations
There are several different types of canyons, including V-shaped canyons, slot canyons, and box canyons. V-shaped canyons are typically formed by the continuous erosion of a river, creating steep and narrow walls. Slot canyons are often formed by flash floods, which rapidly erode the surrounding rock and create narrow, winding passages. Box canyons, on the other hand, are formed by the erosion of softer rock layers, leaving harder rock walls standing.
